Agreement to terms
By creating an account and using PrepPath, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use PrepPath. These terms apply to all users of PrepPath, including visitors, registered users, and Season Pass holders.
What PrepPath is
PrepPath is an independent AI-powered consultation tool designed to help families think through prep school decisions. PrepPath is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any school. Claire, PrepPath's AI consultant, is not a licensed educational consultant, therapist, or financial advisor. All information provided by PrepPath is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Always verify school information directly with each institution.
Your account
You must be 18 years or older to create a PrepPath account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and child profiles. PrepPath reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Season Pass and billing
The PrepPath Season Pass is a one-time purchase of $30.00 USD, charged once at purchase and granting 365 days of access from your purchase date. There is no recurring billing and nothing to cancel — when that period is up, access ends unless you purchase a new pass. A full refund is available within 7 days of purchase, provided your Success Roadmap has not yet been generated; once the Roadmap deliverable is generated, the purchase is final. Request refunds from the Pricing page or email support@preppath.com.
One Season Pass per family
A single Season Pass covers your whole family — up to 3 children under one account, each with their own profile so Claire's recommendations stay personalized per child. If you're consulting on more than 3 children, contact support@preppath.com.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use PrepPath to harass, abuse, or harm others. You agree not to attempt to circumvent PrepPath's payment or access requirements. You agree not to use PrepPath to generate content for commercial resale. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape PrepPath's school database or AI responses. You agree not to create multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits or the refund policy.
Intellectual property
PrepPath's school database, AI system, website design, and content are owned by PrepPath and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your conversation history and child profile information belong to you. You grant PrepPath a limited license to use this information to provide the service.
Limitation of liability
PrepPath provides information and AI-powered guidance to assist your family's decision-making process. We do not guarantee admission to any school. We do not guarantee the accuracy of school data — always verify directly with each school. PrepPath is not liable for any decisions made based on information provided by the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepPath's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding any claim.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration before a single arbitrator in Ontario, Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Your continued use of PrepPath after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
